Non-Whitelisted Transfer Restriction

The non-whitelisted transfer restriction is a workspace setting. It defines whether transfers from a workspace can only be made to addresses added to the whitelist or also to external addresses outside the workspace.

When the workspace is created, transfers to non-whitelisted addresses are disabled by default.

Enabling transfers to a non-whitelisted address requires admin quorum approval, but disabling it does not. It can be closed quickly in the event of a suspected security breach.

  • If the non-whitelisted transfer restriction is disabled in the workspace, transfers cannot be made from the relevant workspace to addresses not included in the whitelist. This ensures that the relevant balance remains secure within the workspace.
  • If the non-whitelisted transfer restriction is enabled in the workspace, transfers can be made from the relevant workspace to addresses not included in the workspace or the whitelist.
